attention body:
you are 34 years old.
that means you're too young for grey hair and too old for zits.
the grey, i've had a decade now to get used to. I know, I banished it with dyes (remember the red 90s?) and rinses, but now I sometimes think it's kinda cool.
the zits though? come on. give a sister a break. though the timing and placement of the newest addition amuses on some level (performance appraisal today and in the middle of my nose---really, half way between the bridge and the end---respectively) I do think you're getting a bit carried away, as this is the fourth in a week. That's just not cool.

attention manufacturers of fine shampoos and conditioners:
thanks so much for the instruction on your bottles to "rinse thoroughly."
really, without a little reminder and encouragement from your fine print, I'm a rather lackadaisical rinser.

thank you.

I've been getting gray hair since my early twenties. And I still get zits, and I think there's no end in sight for them. DOOM.

Hon, I am FIFTY-FRICKIN-FOUR years old and the surgeons took my uterus away nearly 20 years ago. So, no PMS, no hormones that don't come in pill form. And still -- STILL! -- I get the headlight zits on my chin. You know, two matching zits on either side?

It is not fair.

I found a grey hair on my chest..it's first one not in my beard. I found it sobering and disturbing, until I found my black CD marking pen and colored the little bastard.

Shortly thereafter I found a new black mole on my chest...odd...
