my neighbor, who is normally a pretty serious guy and wears suits to work, will break out in the middle of a low key conversation to scoop Buddy up and kiss his face all over. it's quite a sight!
yesterday, when I spilled bacon grease on the heating element in my oven and the apartment filled with smoke, he was actually scratching at the front door, which he never does, as if to say, "ESCAPE!" When I didn't let him out, he huddled next to the bathtub. He's a very concerned little pig.
Hee! What a handsome boy he is! He's clearly concerned with how much attention your laptop is getting because it's cutting into his time.
(And we also seem to have matching laptops.. or at least close as I think from the placement of your mouse pad you do not have the one with the number pad.)
He's definitely jealous! It's my fault, though. When I looked around after this picture, I realized he'd amassed a pile of stuffed animals at my feet for wrestling and/or fetching.
The laptop is a Dell Inspiron wide screen something something fancy schmancy, with a better picture than my tv!
Heh. Jali's curled up sacked out on her blanket; she's had 5 days of trying to keep track of mom, dad and me so she hasn't gotten anywhere near her usual daily naps!
A Dell? Huh. It really is almost a dead ringer for my HP Pavillion. *shrug*
Heh. No worries.. blame it on a lasting food coma from yesterday. *grin*
What kind of dog is Kalli? And how wonderful that Buddy gets along so well with other dogs.. my little black pig is *way* too territorial for us to entertain canine friends. :(
(What are you knitting?! I started socks this week for my mom.. think my desire to knit is coming back.)
Kalli (short for Kalorama, a street/neighborhood near us) is half lab, half chow. All sweetheart. When the neighbors came to get her last week and knocked on the door, she barked, which she apparently never does when anyone knocks on their door, so they are convince she's more protective of me than them. :) She and buddy kind of get along, but mostly agree to disagree. Sometimes they play, but mostly they pick opposite sides of the rug and do their own thing. But he generally loves other dogs. You should see him with my dad's pit bull! Bo is a total pushover for Buddy! Which is good, because Buddy has no idea he's snack sized.
Oohh, knitting, I have so many projects started ... socks and a hat for aforementioned neighbors' impending baby, mittens for a friend in Minnesota, [REDACTED ... ooops!], and always always have socks on the needle for me. But I found that I can't wear them in the house without shocking myself on EVERYTHING. I mean, seriously, there's a corner in my kitchen that must have a metal brace under the paint and spackle and if I am wearing socks and brush up against it ... sometimes I see sparks! Ow!
Glad your desire is coming back. I want to crochet.

Poor Jali! People wrangling is hard work!
Tonight I get Kalli the neighbor dog over night again. =D I predict tomorrow will involve knitting and dog snores.
