My last trip to the local Starbucks

After I stood in a stupidly long line:
Employee: shrububrrrgrrmph?
Me: Pardon?
Employee: Can I start a drink for you?
Me: I'd just like a drip coffee, please.
Employee: Our coffee machine isn't working, but I can make you an
Americano.
Me: You're Starbucks and you don't have coffee?
Employee, haughtily: We have coffee, our machine just isn't
brewing it at the right temperature!
Me: *blink*
*leave*

The people there were really friendly, the atmosphere was cheery and welcoming, there was not a single trust fund teen in a bikini, and the coffee is good. I was going to Starbucks because it's closer, but never again
