for the record, yes, i think you're completely insane. i worry that you're going there to find something you haven't found here, or to escape pain. i am afriad you will find it just as hard to find love and happiness there as here, except there you will be truly alone. at least here, you have us --- some within driving distance --- when you need in-person comfort and company. my (unsolicited) advice is to examine closely and honestly the reasons you want to go, and the reasons you may want to stay.
