there's an LJ hack going around. apparently, people are gaining access to and deleting LJs by taking expired hotmail accounts that have access to LJ accounts. remember when hotmail was the rage? I had one I'd totally forgotten about from like 1996. anyway, you should check here and make sure you don't have any old hotmail accounts associated with your LJ.
