I understand the mentality ... it's the same as people who dont want sex ed taught in schools, because it will make kids want to have sex. If that little girl learns what a vagina is, she'll just want one.

She was "offended at having to answer the question"?!

Any parent who can't come up with true-but-meaningless answers to embarrassing kid questions is doing a piss-poor job. In this case, the answer would have been, "It's part of the female reproductive system." And the next answer is, "That has to do with the way mommies and daddies have their families."

Of course, there's a decent chance that the woman in question doesn't know the term "reproductive system" either.
